Coastal FC Thunder Named BMO Team of the Week

BMO today announced that Coastal FC Thunder have been named a BMO Team of the Week. The title for the under 12 girls team from Surrey, BC, comes with a $500 team prize, $500 donation to a charity of the team's choice, BMO Team of the Week tracksuits, and a community celebration in the team's honour, at a local BMO branch.

Recognized for their work on and off the field, Coastal FC Thunder is the 5^th team to be named out of 15 weekly winners that will be named in BMO's national grassroots soccer program.

Coastal FC Players Selected for Provincial Development Program

BC Soccer recently announced the lineup for Phase 2 of the Provincial Development Program. This year’s selections include 27 Coastal FC players.

"We are very proud of these selections and to have this many players recognized as some of the best in the province of BC shows that Coastal FC continues to be a leader in producing and promoting players to reach the next level of play," commented Chris Murphy, Coastal FC's Executive Director.

Umbro Challenge Cup Volunteers

During the May long weekend, SSAP will be hosting the Umbro Cup Challenge. This tournament will feature over 100 U9-U14 boys and girls teams competing--and is sure to be a busy weekend. Because of that, we are looking for volunteers to help with the event.
