FALL / WINTER PROGRAMS
Coastal Football Club aims to nurture exceptional young athletes through a soccer program tailored to their age, emphasizing technical training and overall player growth. We strive to cultivate an appealing, imaginative, and well-structured approach to the sport. Our priority is to establish a constructive atmosphere that reinforces the principles of training, competition, and the pursuit of greatness.
As per BC Soccer regulations, our programs are organized by birth year. Below are the Fall 2024/Winter 2025 Age Groups by Birth Years.
COASTAL CUBS - U3 - U4
The Coastal Cubs program is designed to provide an introduction to the basics of soccer (dribbling, running, passing, shooting) through a variety of fun games, activities and obstacles. The main focus of this program is to develop players' agility, balance and coordination.
RECREATIONAL - U5 - U7
The Recreational U5 - U7 soccer program is designed for players at the beginner to intermediate levels. The program will take place at the BMO Coastal Soccer Centre. The program includes one practice session during the week and one game on the weekends, led by parent-volunteer coaches.
RECREATIONAL - U8 - U13
The Outdoor Recreational U8 - U13 soccer program is designed for beginner- intermediate players. The program will take place at the South Surrey Athletic Park. The program includes one practice session during the week and one game on the weekends, led by parent-volunteer coaches.
RECREATIONAL - U14 - U18
The Outdoor Recreational U14 - U18 soccer program is designed for beginner- intermediate players. The program will take place at the South Surrey Athletic Park. The program includes one practice session during the week and one game on the weekends, led by parent-volunteer coaches.
SKILL CENTRE - U8 - U13
Introducing The Skill Centre for young players aged U8 to U13, launching Fall 2024! Led by Coastal FC’s Licensed Professional Coaches, our program advances skills and fosters individual development with a dynamic training curriculum tailored to each player's age and stage of development. Our experienced staff ensures optimal competition and growth, with a focus on excitement, enjoyment, and challenge.
REP/DIVISIONAL - U14 - U18
Our U14-U18 Invite-Only Rep/Competitive Soccer Program is for intermediate to experienced players aged 13-17 years old. The objective of this program is to create and provide an excellent experience in a competitive environment while ensuring that safety, organization, structure and fun/enjoyment exist for both players and coaches. The competitive environment created will provide an opportunity for players to further develop technical ability, comprehension of team play and formations, and individual Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ). The end goal will be the identification, advancement, and continued development of future BCSPL, MSL, and Rep coaches and players.
DELTA COASTAL SELECTS - U17 - U18
South Delta United, Coastal FC and North Delta FC continue to collaborate in the growth and development of Delta Coastal Selects. The Delta Coastal Selects’ teams participate in the Metro Select League (“MSL”), which organizes and operates competitive boys’ and girls’ leagues for the second highest level of play for youth soccer in B.C., the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League “BCSPL” being the top level.
