SPRING: U8 - U18 OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL TEAMS

👀 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The U8-U18 Outdoor Recreational Teams soccer program is designed for beginner-intermediate players. The program will take place at the South Surrey Athletic Park and requires travel within the Lower Mainland as teams in the Spring season compete in the Cascadia Soccer League. The program includes one practice session during the week and one game on the weekends, led by Certified Parent Volunteer Coaches. The program provides an opportunity for players to engage in physical activity, spend time with friends, and enjoy developing and learning the sport in a pressure-free environment.

📝 PROGRAM DETAILS: This program is for players born in 2017 to 2007.

  • 1 training session per week led by Certified Parent Volunteer Coaches

  • 1 game per weekend led by Certified Parent Volunteer Coaches

    • Boys play on Saturdays

    • Girls play on Sundays

  • Team Travel is required within the Lower Mainland to play in the Cascadia Soccer League. Click here for more info.

  • Oversight by Coastal FC Licensed Professional Staff

  • The Spring 2025 Player Kit Package: 

    • Onfield - Coastal FC game kit (1 Jersey, 1 Shorts, 1 Socks)

⚽️ ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Interested in extra training sessions? Players who want additional training with Coastal FC staff coaches can register for one of the Academy Sessions.

🗓️ SPRING PROGRAM SCHEDULE

🗓️ SPRING DURATION: The Spring U5-U7 Indoor Recreational program begins April 2025 to June 2025, with breaks during traditional holiday breaks. ​Please note that all program dates/locations & schedules are subject to changes.

Boys train on Mondays or Wednesdays, and girls train on Tuesdays or Thursdays.​​ Boys' games will be on Saturdays, and girls' games will be on Sundays. All dates are subject to change.

🗓️ SPRING TRAINING/GAME SCHEDULES

GAMES  SCHEDULES: Coastal FC will communicate the weekly game schedule to team coaches and managers by Wednesday of the specific game weekend. Coastal FC will strive to finalize schedules as quickly as possible. Team coaches and managers will communicate the designated game times to their teams and parents.

TRAINING SCHEDULES: Coastal FC will communicate the training schedule to team coaches and managers a few weeks before the start of the Spring Season. Team coaches and managers will communicate the designated training times to their teams and parents.

 

All training schedules may be subject to change based on the number of teams that need to be accommodated and the availability of our volunteer coaches.​ Boys train on Mondays or Wednesdays, and girls train on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

👉 REFUND REQUESTS: Refund requests are only reviewed through the Refund Request Form. Refund Requests sent via email to Coastal FC Staff will not be accepted, and they will be directed to fill out the Refund Request Form. 

⚠️ PLAYER REGISTRATION REQUESTS: As per Coastal FC’s U5-U18 Team Building Guidelines, requests operate on a first-come, first-served basis based on the registration timestamp. During registration, our youth programs quickly reach maximum capacity, often within the first few hours and the leagues in which teams participate impose deadlines that necessitate early team commitments. It is recommended that you submit your player's registration as early as possible to increase your chances of getting placed in the requested team. However, early registration does not guarantee a placement in the requested team.
