The environment created will provide an opportunity for players to develop technical ability, comprehension of team play and formations, and individual Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ). On Coastal FC Website Go to "Youth Programs" Select "Fall/Winter Programs" on the website and select your desired program. Select your child’s age group and then the registration button. If you are new to Coastal FC click HERE for registration help. How much are the Fall Registration Fees? All program fees can be found on the website within the Youth program drop-down site. All programs fees include the $100.00 refundable volunteer Bond, $35.00 Capital fee. Is payment required for a waitlisted registration? Yes, we do accept payment for waitlisted players . If you are not placed you will be fully refunded. Can I pay my registration fee by cheque? Coastal FC only accepts Mastercard and Visa. What is the BC Soccer Fee? BC Soccer provides coverage to full member associations (Youth District and Adult Leagues) their affiliate clubs / teams and the registered players/participants within them via our insurance provider All Sport Insurance and the broker which is SBC Insurance. What is the difference between Fall Soccer & Coastal FC Academy Programs? Fall/Winter Season Soccer, are league (games) played and practice once a week with a team throughout the duration of a season. The Coastal FC Academy are specifically geared to individual skill development in a group setting where members of the training group are at a similar level to one another. The groups may include players of their own age, younger or older age, and from within their own regular season team or not. Academies are coached by Licensed Professional Coaches highly skilled to provide an exceptional, professionally led training environment leading to a player's growth in their own skill level and confidence that translates into other areas of their team play. Are there League games on Thanksgiving Weekend? There are no league games Thanksgiving or Family Day long weekends. There are (optional) tournaments teams can participate in if they wish depending on their level of play and age. What equipment odes my child need? Soccer cleats and a pair of shin guards are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. Fall registration fees include club jersey, shorts and socks dependant on programs. Voucher codes can only be used for the season they were intended for. EXAMPLE: If you volunteered during the Fall 2023/2024, you will be able to utilize a volunteer voucher for the Fall 2023/2024 season. You are not permitted to use a code given during the 2020/2021 for the 2022/2023 season. How do I get my Volunteer Code for the Fall? Volunteer codes will be sent out to all volunteers prior to the fall registration opening. How do I grant access for another Parent/Guardian to view the team information? If you have admin privileges within your household, you can add a new member (parent/guardian/grandparent/babysitter) to your household by navigating to: MY ACCOUNT using the links in the footer or top menu of any screen From the MY ACCOUNT view, click on the name of your household and select the ADD MEMBER option. If you need this member to have access to your child’s team for event and communication access, they must be designated as a Household Admin. Coastal FC’s Champions Program is offered to boys and girls who are 7 to 18 years of age and is suitable for all participants with special needs. This program will be led by professional Coastal FC coaches and Big Buddy Volunteer Coaches who will provide a supportive and passionate environment for participants to have fun and develop their soccer skills. Champions Program will have a primary focus on individual participation where each participant along with their “Home Support” are able to participate in different stations. Some of our exciting stations will include dribbling and relays, passing competition with targets, a shooting station to score as many goals as you can! Individuals can choose to stay at one activity for the duration of the session or move from one station to the next. Our main goal is to ensure that all members in the community have an opportunity to participate in their favourite sport! PROGRAM DETAILS: Participants aged 7-18 years old (2018 - 2007) One indoor training session each week led by Professional Coaches and Big Buddies. The latest version of the Demosphere 2.0 Mobile App is available for Android Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. How do I access registration via the mobile app? On the home screen, tap the menu icon and select Register. Existing registrations you have previously registered with will display on the screen. Tap on the name of the organization – COASTAL FC, and a new browser window will open on your device. The browser will take you to the registration website for the organization. Select 'Sign in to Begin Registration.' Enter your Demosphere username and password for your account. Proceed to complete the registration process for the organization as necessary. COASTAL FC - VISITOR GUIDE UPON ARRIVAL/DURING SESSION Review our Return to Play Plan and communicate it with your players and their families. All teams visiting from outside of the City of Surrey must fill out an Event Attendee Register Form HERE and submit it to the City of Surrey’s Contact Tracing Department contacttracinginfo@surrey.ca . This is City of Surrey requirement. This form is required to be submitted within 24 hours of game day. Identify time and location of game and plan a meeting location with your team. All facilities are capped with a maximum 50 at a time rule. Please do not put this rule at risk by warming up in endzones or sidelines when a game with close to 50 participants is already on (includes post game shin pad and cleat removal). Noncompliance risks field permits. ​ REMIND YOUR PARENTS THAT: Complete a COVID-19 symptom check and remain home if there are any signs of illness. BC Soccer recommends only one parent/guardian remain as a spectator at any session or game. They must adhere to all requirements of our Return to Play Plan , including social distancing from one another. and remaining at least 10ft back from the field and fences. They must adhere to our Illness Policy requirements. They are not permitted on the playing surface or at the fences at any time. They must arrange to have their player meet them in a pre-determined location post-game for pick up. REMIND PLAYERS TO: Review and complete the Player Checklist before heading to the field Bring their own water bottle and hand sanitizer (labelled) in a bag of their own. Bring their own umbrella if raining – sharing of umbrellas is not permitted. Maintain social distance in meeting location and whenever not in the field of play. Follow any additional Return to Play requirements of the home team (if any). Remind all team staff to: Review and complete the Coach / Manager Checklist . Bring their own water bottle and hand sanitizer. Bring their own umbrella if raining – sharing of umbrellas is not permitted. Bring a mask (and gloves are strongly recommended) for any instance that may occur where physical distancing is not possible (i.e., injury). Team staff are not included in the cohorts and as such, must always maintain physical distancing from players, even on the field of play. Bring fully cleaned equipment (pinnies, cones, balls) to the field and keep players from touching the equipment at all time. Follow and prepare fully for any additional Return to Play requirements of the home team, if any. GAMES – ON FIELD Do not enter the playing field without confirmation your players have washed and/or sanitized their hands When entering the field, mark the areas for the player’s belongings to be placed 6ft apart (cones or fence posts) for easy adherence to this requirement. Reminders for players and team staff: Players may not touch the equipment, if they do so accidentally, they must sanitize their hands immediately. Players may not wear a pinnie that another player has already worn – no exceptions. No spitting at any time, including during game play. No handshakes. Coughing and sneezing must be covered (elbow, not hands). No sharing water bottles or any other personal belongings, including umbrellas at any time. No high fives, fist bumps or other close contact celebrations of any kind. Goalies may not share gloves and may not spit into their gloves. No throw ins, kick ins only. Hand sanitize every time a player comes off the field, including half time. Team staff are not included in the cohorts and as such, must always maintain physical distancing from players, even on the field of play. It is strongly recommended that all participants and team staff maintain physical distancing between their personal belongings at all times. ​ POST-GAME Team staff are the only ones to clean up / touch the equipment. No cool down (including removal of cleats, shin pads, etc.) permitted on the field or within the end zones of the field. Please exit the field immediately after the match ends to allow for transition to the next game and keep the number of people on the field to a minimum (<50) at all times. All personnel to leave the field immediately. All personnel are to remain socially distanced at all time outside the field of play while exiting the field and while awaiting parent/guardian pick up from the field. ​ ​ ​ ​
