FALL: U14-U18 OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL TEAMS
👀 ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The U14-U18 Outdoor Recreational Teams program is for beginner to intermediate players. It’s a fun, pressure-free way to stay active, make friends, and learn and play soccer. Whether they continue in our Recreational Program, Rep/Divisional, or BCSPL programs in the future, this program helps players grow their skills and confidence on the field.

U14-U18 teams play across the Lower Mainland in the BC Coastal Soccer League (BCCSL).

📝 PROGRAM DETAILS:

Boys & girls age 13-17 (born 2013 - 2009)

60-minute training sessions & games

One training session per week led by Certified Parent Volunteer Coaches

One game per weekend led by Certified Parent Volunteer Coaches

Boys play on Saturdays

Girls play on Sundays

Oversight by Coastal FC Licensed Professional Staff

IMPORTANT: U14-U18 Team Travel is required within the Lower Mainland to play in the BC Soccer League (BCCSL). Click here for more info.
👟PROGRAM EQUIPMENT:

Equipment Package Includes: One Blue Coastal FC uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks

All players must have shin guards and proper footwear; cleats and turf shoes are acceptable

In colder months, dress in layers: jacket, hat, gloves, and training pants or shorts. Watch our Essential Gear Video for tips to stay comfortable at every session.
⚽️ STAFF SUPPORT FOR VOLUNTEER-COACHES:

Certified parent volunteer coaches receive weekly session plans and on-field support from Coastal FC Technical Staff throughout the season

Staff and volunteer coaches implement a specialized curriculum designed to make sessions fun and interactive

Curriculum focuses on technical development and fundamental movement skills through age-appropriate activities

🗓️ U14-U18 FALL REC TRAINING SCHEDULE
All dates & times may be subject to change. Please note that this schedule may change based on the number of teams and the field permits received from the City. City permits are expected by the end of July, with the Training Schedule being sent out in mid to late August.

Boys typically train on Mondays & Wednesdays; Girls typically train on Tuesdays & Thursdays

Coastal FC will share the training schedule with coaches and managers a few weeks before the Fall Season starts in mid-August.

Coaches and managers will share the training times with their teams and parents.

Schedules may change depending on the number of teams and the availability of volunteer coaches.

Coastal FC will send the weekly game schedule to team coaches and managers by Wednesday of each game weekend.

All refund requests must be sent through the Refund Request Form. Refund requests sent by email will not be accepted and will be redirected to the form.
⚽️ TEAM BUILDING/REQUESTS

Please review the U5-U18 Team Building Guidelines prior to registration.

Team requests are handled in the order they are received, based on the time you register.

Our programs fill up fast, sometimes within hours, and league deadlines mean teams must be confirmed early.

Registering early improves your chances of joining your requested team, but it is not guaranteed.
