How do I register my child for the Fall/Winter/Spring Programs?

Our club processes registrations using an online program called OTTO SPORT (formerly known as Demosphere). To find your program, follow the steps below.

On the Coastal FC Website
Go to "Programs" look for the Your Programs Tab
Click the desired season you are looking for: Fall/Winter Programs or Spring Programs. 
Review all Seasonal Programs and select your desired program.
Click the “Register Here” button on the top right of the page.  
You will be directed to our OTTO SPORT Portal Registration page.
During the registration process select the program you want from the drop down Menu.

Question 2

If my child played last year, do I still need to create a OTTO SPORT account?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not need to create a new account. Please login with your email address into  your household account.

If you "Forgot Your Password," click the "Forgot password or Retrieve account button." Follow the steps by OTTO SPORT to reset or retrieve your account DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT -  if you have technical problems, please visit Demopshere Support Site here.

How can I see what program I have registered my children in?

You can view all your previously submitted registrations and orders to see what your player/household has registered for and make/update payment information.

Use your email to log in. If you have forgotten your password, click ” forgot password to reset.

The steps to view your Registration Order History are: 
1. Login to your registration portal:  coastalfc.demosphere-secure.com/_login  
2. Click the ‘my profile dashboard’ tab at the top of the page.
3. Click the My Household tab under My Account Information
4. Click View Registration Order History under My Site Registrations

How much are the Fall/Winter/SpringRegistration Fees?

All program fees can be found on the website within the Youth program drop-down site. The Fall League program will include the $100.00 refundable volunteer Bond, $35.00 Facility fee.

What is the "New Player Fee"?

Accepted Answer

The new player fee is only applicable to Spring League players who did not play in the previous fall team ( league)  season.  They are considered new players because they need to be registered with the district and pay the league fee, BC soccer fee and Facility fee.

Is payment required for a waitlisted registration?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we do accept payment for waitlisted players. If you are not placed within 2 weeks of the program starting , you will be fully refunded .

Can I pay my registration fee by cheque?

Coastal FC only accepts Mastercard and Visa.

Question 8

What is the BC Soccer Fee?

Accepted Answer

BC Soccer provides coverage to full member associations (Youth District and Adult Leagues) , their affiliate clubs / teams and the registered players/participants within them via our insurance provider All Sport Insurance and the broker which is SBC Insurance.

How can I apply for Financial Assistance?

Coastal FC does have a financial application plan, and you must contact our Registrar Manager Erica Kerr at ekerr@coastalfc.ca  to fill out your financial application form.

If you are applying for financial assistance (e.g. KidSport, Jumpstart, etc.), the application is your responsibility and not the responsibility of Coastal FC . Along with your CFC application form you must provide a copy of your application for funding before the registration deadlines. Once received, the Registrar will plan with you for online registration.

What is Coastal FC's refund policy?

The refund policy applies to all player registrations for Club programs. If you are seeking a refund, please review the Coastal FC Refund & Collections Policy. If your circumstances meet the outlined criteria, you can submit a refund request using the Coastal FC Refund Request Form. 
Please note:
Any emails regarding refunds will receive a response directing you to complete the Coastal FC Refund Request Form. Refunds will not be evaluated unless the official request form is submitted.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee a refund, as all requests are evaluated based on our refund policy.

Can I get a refund if my schedule changes or conflicts arise?

Accepted Answer

No. Refunds are not approved for schedule changes or conflicts. Training schedules depend on the City of Surrey’s field allocation process and may change up to the start of the season.

Can I get a refund if my team, coach, or friend requests aren't met?

Accepted Answer

No. While we try to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee them, and refunds are not issued for this reason.

What are the deadlines and fees for refunds for seasonal registrations?

Fall/Winter Season:
Until August 15th:
BCSPL: $150.00 administration fee and 100% of the program apparel fee withheld.
Skill Centre/Rep: $150.00 administration fee withheld.
Recreational: $100.00 administration fee withheld.
After August 15th: No refunds for any reason.

Spring Season:
Until March 15th:
BCSPL: $150.00 administration fee and 100% of the program apparel fee withheld.
Skill Centre/Rep: $150.00 administration fee withheld.
Recreational: $100.00 administration fee withheld.
After March 15th: No refunds for any reason.

Question 14

What are the refund rules for programs like camps or academies?

Accepted Answer

No refunds will be issued within two weeks prior to the program’s start. Refunds requested earlier than two weeks before the program will incur a $50.00 administration fee.

Are refunds issued for weather-related cancellations or conflicts?

Accepted Answer

No. Refunds or credits will not be issued for weather-related cancellations, opposing team cancellations, or player conflicts with training or game schedules.

Are medical refunds available?

Accepted Answer

Players with a long-term or season-ending injury, confirmed by a medical doctor, may be eligible for a refund. We do not do credits for missed sessions.

What are the steps to request a refund?

Accepted Answer

Step 1: Review the Coastal FC Refund & Collection Policy to ensure your situation qualifies.
Step 2: Submit the Coastal FC Refund Request Form:
Access the form HERE. 
Complete all required sections and include supporting documents (e.g., medical note, if applicable).
Step 3: Wait for confirmation: A Coastal FC staff member will review your request within 5-10 business days and contact you if additional details are needed.

What happens if payments are past due?

Accepted Answer

2 weeks past due: A reminder will be sent.
30 days past due: The player will be held out of training and games until payment is received.

Question 19

What if I leave the team or Club with an outstanding balance?

Accepted Answer

If a player leaves before the season ends, all outstanding balances, including future payments, must be paid in full. Transfers to other clubs or teams will not be processed until payments are cleared.
