BOARD SERVICE: Started with Peach Arch Soccer Club in 2005 as Board Member. 2009 elected VP of Peace Arch Soccer. Founding board member of the South Fraser Soccer Club. Founding board member of Coastal FC. Two-term Vice President of the Fraser Valley Soccer League for men, 7-year board member. Represented Peach Arch Soccer Club as Delta District Representative, South District Soccer Association Representative and BC Soccer Representative. Coastal FC VP in 2017, Operations and External. Coastal FC President 2021 to 2025. Led the creation of the Coastal FC mission statement, values and goals. Implementation of DEI, Women's Committees. South Surrey Rotary Fieldhouse Society board member 2018 to 2025. COACHING: Coached both 1998 and 2001 boys’ teams from U5 to U18 at Peace Arch Soccer Club and Coastal FC. Coached at the House and Metro levels and for the Regional BC Sumner Games team, which won a bronze medal. Coached Coastal FC men indoor and outdoor. Provincial B-level coach. PLAYER: Member of the Delta Sports Hall of Fame in the Team category for 1981 U16 North Delta United. Canadian champion U16 player, 4 time BC youth soccer champion, BC Canada Games Team player, 2-time Senior Men’s Open Soccer Champion. Played for Simon Fraser University 1986 NAIA national finalist on soccer scholarship. Played for 1991 to 1992 at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon on soccer scholarship. Continuous service to the South Surrey soccer community from 2005 until 2025.
