👀 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program is an additional component to the Prospects/Development Program and has been developed for players who are playing in our Prospects/Development program to further develop their skills by training and competing with like-minded individuals of similar ability. The program will include specialized group training and technical training.
This program is an invite-only program for selected players. The player's progress is monitored from phase to phase. Players will be invited prior to each phase of the program.
🤩 GOALS/OBJECTIVES: The program will allow players to develop technical and tactical abilities to prepare for progression to the Coastal BCSPL, Provincial, and Whitecaps FC professional youth programs.

📍 LOCATION: BMO Coastal Soccer Centre
HPA U7 IDENTIFICATION PROCESS
The Coastal FC High-Performance Academy is an optional supplemental training program that runs on weekends (Girls - Saturday & Boys - Sunday). Led by experienced and licensed coaches, the HPA program focuses on technical skills and tactical understanding. Below is the identification process for the Fall 2025 season:
CURRENT COASTAL FC PLAYERS:
STEP 1: Coastal FC Technical Staff request player recommendations from Spring U6 Head Coaches on May 1st with a deadline of May 15th.
STEP 2: Coastal FC Technical Staff observe recommended players and the full recreational program to identify potential players through training sessions and games.
STEP 3: Coastal FC Technical Staff identify approximately 30 boys and 30 girls players who will receive HPA invites. Invites will be sent out on August 1st, with a registration deadline of August 10th. Player registration is optional/elective. There is no obligation to accept or decline the invite into the HPA.
OUT-OF-CLUB PLAYERS:
STEP 1: Complete HPA interested player form HERE
STEP 2: Coastal FC Technical Staff will contact interested players to invite them into the training environment for potential inclusion into the High-Performance Academy program.
STEP 3: After a player has been invited into the training environment, they will be notified if they will be invited into the program
FALL PROGRAM SCHEDULE
🗓️ FALL DURATION: The Fall High-Performance Academy U7 training program begins in September 2025 and to March/April 2026, with breaks during traditional holiday breaks. Please note that all training start/end dates are subject to change and will be communicated to registered participants accordingly.

Coastal FC will notify registered participants via email of any schedule changes or cancellations due to weather, power outages, or other reasons.

Registered participants are encouraged to frequently check their emails, the game schedule website, and Coastal FC social media pages to stay updated on important announcements, changes, or cancellations.

👉REFUND REQUESTS: Refund requests are only reviewed through the Refund Request Form. Refund Requests sent via email to Coastal FC Staff will not be accepted, and they will be directed to fill out the Refund Request Form.
⚽️PLAYER PLACEMENT: Players can be moved from groups at the coaches' discretion based on their soccer skills for a better soccer experience.
