PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Coastal Goalkeeping Academy welcomes ambitious players of all abilities; our priority is to ensure the development of every player attending the academy.

​

PROGRAM DETAILS: Players aged 7-15 (2016 - 2008) 

 

• 1 x 1.5 hours session per week

• Led by Certified/Licenced Professional Academy Coaches 

• Approximate ratio of 14 players to 1 staff 

• Position Specific Training

Position-specific Training Includes:​

• Goalkeeping-specific warmups

• Handling

• Footwork

• Diving

• Shot stopping

• 1-on-1 

• Crossing

• High balls

• Distribution from hands and feet

BEGINNER GOALKEEPER ACADEMY 

The Beginner Goalkeeper Academy is the perfect first ever experience for young soccer players who are interested in goalkeeping.

INTERMEDIATE GOALKEEPER ACADEMY 

The Intermediate Goalkeeping Academy is for players who have taken an interest in goalkeeping and wish to develop their skills in this area further.  The program is geared toward Recreational, Development and Prospect goalkeepers.

ADVANCED GOALKEEPER ACADEMY - BY PLACEMENT & APPROVAL

The Advanced Goalkeeper Academy is geared towards BCSPL, Divisional, Development and Prospect goalkeepers. Players will be split into groups consistent with their ability and level.

 

Players may register into the advanced goalkeeper program, but placement will be confirmed by Coastal FC Staff. Placement in the advanced goalkeeper academy will be determined by registrants ability. ​​
