Team Roster/Assignments

Be on the lookout for an email from your team coach/manager with welcome information, the training schedule, and first-game information.

Training/Game Schedules

​Before your first practice, your team coach or team manager will contact you about when and where your first training/game will be. This will usually happen via Email or the Otto Sport App.​

​

Schedule Release Timeline:

  • Training Schedules: Released to Volunteer-Coaches/Team Managers before the season begins

  • Game Schedules: Updated weekly throughout the season. Please check the Weekend Games Schedule​

​

Uniforms

Your team coach/manager will have all the jerseys, shorts, and socks for players at either their first practice or first weekend game (subject to deliveries from uniform suppliers). Any exchanges need to come from the team coach or manager, not parents, and must follow the Uniform Request/Exchange process.​

​

To help keep things organized and efficient, we kindly ask that only team managers or coaches submit the Uniform Exchange & Equipment Exchange forms, not parents. Parents, please reach out to your Team Manager regarding any Uniform Exchanges, and they will handle the exchange process.

Weather Guidelines

 

  • Pre-Session Check:

    • Parents: Check team group chats and email before training and games.

    • Do Not Email the Club: Cancellations are emailed directly to Coaches, Managers, and Program Managers.

  • Weather Source: Official conditions are tracked via The Weather Network website and mobile app.

  • Communication & Updates

    • Direct Alerts: Cancellations and updates are emailed to Team Coaches/Staff.

    • Public Alerts: General updates will be posted on the club website and social media.

    • Training Updates: Posted by 3:00 PM on session days.

    • Game Updates: Announcements may occur the night before, the morning of, or directly at the field depending on changing conditions.

Club Communication

 

​Club Responsibilities:

  • Inform team coaches & managers in case of weather-related cancellations or changes; notifications will be sent via email.

  • Provide a general update about Schedule Changes/Weather Cancellations via website & social media.

  • Communicate with the City of Surrey to evaluate field conditions regularly, usually on Thursday mornings.

  • Communicate internally with our operations staff about field conditions every other day.​
