Program Details – Invitational Program for players born in 2009, 2010 and 2011

This program is ideal for players who are part of the club's development program and who's TEAM would like to continue to train and play games throughout the spring. 


Individual players cannot sign up for a development team. They must be invited by a coach or as part of the team selection process.

Players who are invited to participate on a Development team will first register for the club spring program and will be provided a program registration link, for the supplemental services. Both of these registrations and payments must be provided before the start of the spring season. 



  • Professional staff oversight

  • 1 professional staff led training session per week

  • 1 volunteer led training session per week

  • 1 volunteer led game per week

  • Local tournament entries (Umbro Challenge Cup)




Location – South Surrey Athletic Park Turf Fields and surrounding community fields for training and home games. Away game locations to be determined.


Duration - Program will run for 10 weeks, April to June with breaks at traditional holiday periods.  The first weekend of games will be April 6th/7th, and the last weekend of games will be June 15/16th.  Umbro Cup Challenge will be May 18-20th. 


Goals/Objectives – The objective of the program is to create and provide an excellent experience/environment for by ensuring that safety, organization, structure and fun/enjoyment exists for both players and coaches. The environment created by the club will provide an opportunity for players to develop technical ability, comprehension of team play and formations, and individual Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ). The end goal will be the identification and continued development of future BCSPL, MSL and Rep coaches and players.


Program Fees - Base Fee- $160.00 + $85.00 Program Fee 

                         - New Player Fee* - $60.00 (BC Soccer Soccer Fee $25.00 + Facility Fee $35.00)


* A new player is described as someone that is new to Coastal FC and/or did not play in the Fall 2018/2019 season.

Refund Policy

​A $25.00 admin fee will be applied to all cancelations made prior to the start of the season. There are No refunds once the program has started.

Implementation of periodized expert player development programs, ongoing assessment systems, and coach education to ensure the advancement of each player throughout all stages of Canadian Soccer Association’s Long Term Player Development Pathway.
