INDOOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE ACADEMY - FALL

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program is an additional component to the Prospects/Development Program and has been developed for players that are playing in our Prospects/Development program to further develop their skills by training and competing with like-minded individuals of similar ability. The program will include specialized group training, and technical training, and may include games and/or tournaments against other High-Performance Academy clubs to allow players to play in a competitive environment.
This program is an invite-only program for selected players. Player's progress is monitored from phase to phase. Players will be invited prior to each phase of the program.
OUT-OF-CLUB PLAYERS: This program is open to players from outside of Coastal FC.
In order to be considered Out of Club Players must:

Be playing in their club's Prospect/Development Program

Complete HPA interested player form HERE

Contact their clubs technical staff on completion of the interested player form

Coastal FC technical staff will contact interested players to invite them into the training environment for selection into the High-Performance Academy program.

After the player has been invited into the training environment they will be notified if they will be invited into the program
PROGRAM DETAILS: Invite only program for High-Performance players aged U7-U13 (2011 - 2017)

LOCATION: BMO Coastal Soccer Centre OR South Surrey Athletic Park
DURATION: The Fall program will begin the weekend of September 22/23/24, 2023 through to the weekend of Feb 23, 2024 with breaks during traditional holiday breaks, which includes:

Family Day (Feb 17 - 19)
* Please note that academies with holiday breaks that are observed on the Saturday or Sunday; the program ending will be extended to the March 9/10th weekend to account for the missed sessions.
PROGRAM FEES: Coastal FC Members - $200.00; Non- Coastal FC Members - $390.00
TRAINING SCHEDULE:
GOALS/OBJECTIVES: The program will provide an opportunity for players to develop technical and tactical abilities in order to prepare for progression to the Coastal BCSPL, Provincial, and Whitecaps FC professional youth programs.
SUCCESS STORIES: Coastal FC’s High Performance Academies have a proven track record of developing and advancing players into the highest levels of the game throughout the country. Approximately 32 players coming through the Coastal FC BCSPL High Performance Academies will progress to the BCSPL, while several have recently advanced to Whitecaps Residency/REX programs such as:
BOYS: Josh Bauman, Brandon Bassi, Anthony Vega, Sidrit Vukaj, Keishean Francois, Lennon Thompson, Harrison Gough, Jeevan Badwal
GIRLS: Olivia Shepard, Kloe Jackman, Alison Hay, Joanna Verzosa-Dolezal, Jaime Perrault, Emalie Lynn
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds once the program has started. Cancellations made prior to the start of the season will have a $50.00 administration fee applied.
BMO COASTAL SOCCER CENTRE: The BMO Coastal Soccer Centre recently opened for play in the spring of 2019. This brand new, indoor facility is one of the only facilities of its kind in the lower mainland, owned and operated by Coastal FC. This $5 million state of the art indoor soccer facility provides the best possible environment for footballing excellence within the province. With weather elements being identified as a major barrier to player development in Canada, the BMO Coastal Soccer Centre is the largest purpose-built facility of its kind in the Lower Mainland and sets a new standard for player development facilities within the country. The inspirational environment, which is free from the harsh elements of the Canadian weather, allows Coastal FC to focus on a player development strategy that aims to produce the next generation of high performance, professional, and national team players. The combination of FIFA approved 3G turf, indoor training, professional coaching, and an innovative curriculum creates a developmental experience like no other.
