Player Evaluations
Coastal FC is always looking for players who meet the technical and tactical expectations of a club member at the EA Sports BCSPL level of play.
How do I get evaluated?
Coastal FC does not have formal 'open' evaluations; however, players are encouraged to sign up as an INTERESTED PLAYER. Once a player has signed up the following steps will take place:
- Coastal FC will contact the player's current club to advise them of the player's expression of interest
- Coastal FC will make an effort to obtain information about the player from our scouting network and contacts
- Coastal FC will communicate to the player if they will be invited to a trial
- Invited players will attend a series of invitational evaluations
- After the invitational evaluations the player may be offered a spot on the team
If you are simply looking for more information about the BCSPL, Coastal FC, or one of the teams, you can speak to the club technical staff to get general information, before deciding if you would like to sign the interested players list.
What is an intake team?
An intake team is the next year of play for the BCSPL (2001 born players for 2013).
The evaluation and team selection process is different from all other teams. Complete info can be found HERE.
